Aren’t wildfires covered by my current homeowners policy?
Yes. But rates are considerably higher for homes that are considered within wildfire-prone areas. In these areas, the majority of insurance companies are not designed to handle this risk. In fact, they avoid it. If you live in such an area, ask your insurance agent for a Rivington Specialty Homeowners policy.
Is Rivington a retailer?
No. Rivington is a managing general underwriter and works through licensed agents and brokers representing the homeowner.
